Diane and Lars Wessman

In this short presentation, Diane and Lars will be speaking about the different strategies and decisions their family has taken to live a sustainable lifestyle in one of the coldest capitals in the world:  Ottawa, Canada.

Lars Wessman is a communications and policy professional and has been a political advisor to three Ministers in the Canadian Government. Before that, he was an entrepreneur and academic, focusing on language learning and research.Lars’ environmentalism and love of the outdoors have combined to make him a keen wildlife photographer.

Diane Wessman is Vice President of Operations at the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada which is based in Ottawa and volunteers extensively in her community. She has also worked as an entrepreneur in education management. Diane has been environmentally conscious from a young age and, together with her family, try to live a sustainable lifestyle.   

Lars and Diane live in Ottawa, Canada, with their two daughters.
