At our recent club meeting Brittney Woodrum presented to us and told the club how she climbed all 58 Colorado mountain peaks in excess of 14,000 feet. While climbing 58 mountain peaks in a lifetime is impressive, Brittney did it in 78 days!! No, it's not a typo - 78 days!! All the while she raised $85,000 for ShelterBox - one of Rotary's favorite causes. Brittney is not stopping there however. While visiting with us, we were informed her next fete of strength will be an equally daunting task of climbing peaks in New Hampshire. The Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights has pledged $1,000 to sponsor one of the peaks. Several members have made personal donations thus far.
