Our second to last flag day of the year is almost here!  Let's adorn Hays in its beautiful red, white, and blue for Labor Day on Monday, September 5th!  There are several routes that are still open.  It's a fun way to volunteer and serve our community all at the same time.
Have you never covered a flag route before and need a brief tutorial, please email sarah@hayschamber.com to schedule a call with a fellow Kiwanis member to discuss how the flag routes work.
The sun will rise that morning at 7:10 a.m., so flags can begin going up at that time.  The sun will set at 8:01 p.m., so flags will need to be retired by then.
Route volunteers are asked to use the front cover sheet of your notebook to write in every volunteer who helps with the route so our club secretary can account for all of our volunteer hours with Kiwanis International.
As always, please be sure to mark your pages if there are any issues with plugs or comments from patrons.  Thanks in advance for your help and for making our Flag Project a success!  The sign up sheet will also be available at today's Kiwanis Luncheon if you will be there.
To sign up for a route via email, please also contact sarah@hayschamber.com.
