Passing on a Kiwanis Treasure
Bill Lucas (left), a Kiwanis member for 47 years and a member of the Baytown Kiwanis for over 35 years, presents a belt buckle once belonging to Baytown Kiwanis legend Herbert V. Herbert to Scott Sheley, the 2016 Kiwanis Rookie of the Year. Herbert was a long-time member of the Baytown club, serving as president in 1965 and continuing to serve the community, earning the title of Kiwanian of the Year 20 years after serving as president.
