Dan Parsons, executive director of the Better Business Bureau of Greater Houston, was guest speaker at our November 9 Kiwanis meeting. Dan's informative presentation focused on the history of the BBB and challenges of the bureau after Hurricane Harvey. The club learned that the BBB is a charitable non-profit organization that informs, educates, and advocates on behalf of consumers, helps combat unethical business practices, and provides protection from fraudulent schemes.
