Club Member "Badgers" Another

Long-time Kiwanis member David Mohlman (right) "badgered" another long-time member Jim Wadzinski (left) at the April 1 Kiwanis luncheon by forcing Jim to wear a Notre Dame cap and lead the singing of the Fighting Irish fight song. The jocularity was the result of a friendly wager placed on a recent NCAA basketball playoff game between Wisconsin and Notre Dame. Mohlman, an ND grad, and Wadzinski, a native of the badger state, agreed that the loser of the Sweet 16 matchup would lead the other team's fight song at a club meeting. Jim was in excellent tune for his rendition. After losing previous wagers against LSU, one would think Wadzinski had learned his lesson risking shame in the name of UW!
