Dr. Anne Updegraff Spleth, Chief Operating Officer of the Kiwanis International Foundation, visited the Club on July 9 and gave an update on the Kiwanis Eliminate Project. Dr. Spleth's role as COO of the Eliminate Project is to oversee the fundraising project that is designed to raise $110 million to eliminate material and neonatal tetanus in the world. The fundraising project is the largest in the history of Kiwanis International. Dr. Spleth posed with current Baytown Kiwanis president Dave Jirrels after her presentation.
