Trio Attends Annual Convention

President-Elect Mary Ann Amalang, Lt. Governor Al Richard, and member Eleanor Alban represented the Club at the annual Kiwanis Texas-Oklahoma District Convention in Rockwall August 8-10, 2013.

During the event the trio received ideas for increasing Kiwanis membership, communication practices within the District, and tips on making weekly meetings more exciting.

The local Kiwanians also attended the delegates' session to vote on proposed changes to the District bylaws and select the 2015 convention site - Texarkana, Texas!
