Ken Dehart was guest speaker at the November 2 meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Baytown. Ken, an associate pastor at Faith Family Church, gave a presentation on the annual US Marine Reserve Toys for Tots campaign. Faith Family Church has conducted an annual TFT campaign as part of its ministry and the campaign has grown large enough that all gifts and money collected in the Baytown campaign comes back to Baytown. Unwrapped toys for children up thru age 12 are being collected throughout the city and Ken was asking for more businesses to volunteer to collect toys. He explained how children are chosen for receiving toys at Christmas, how the toys are distributed, and how financial contributions are handled.
