Kiwanis members Roxie Krisher and Chad Merling test out two of the four bicycles being donated by Kiwanis to Alamo Elementary as perfect attendance incentives for the school year. Roxie and Chad "stepped up to the plate" when Partner in Education chairperson Scott Sheley (standing) made a plea on behalf of Alamo for the Kiwanis to provide the incentives. The trio delivered the bicycles after our April 14 regular meeting. Kiwanis Club of Baytown is a two-time Chamber of Commerce Partner of the Year with its partnership with Alamo Elementary.
