Port of Houston Update Presented

Pedro Garcia, Small Business Program Manager of the Port of Houston, gave an update to the Club at our July 21 meeting. Pedro explained upcoming construction projects for the Port at the Bayport and Barbours Cut terminals and the Turning Basin. He also provided an update on the dredging of the ship channel to make way for larger container vessels that will hopefully be arriving through the newly-expanded Panama Canal.
