Kiwanis Takes Home the Gold

The Kiwanis team of John McMillon, Chad Merling, Gary Englert, and Jim Wadzinski hold the golf cup signifying the club's victory over the Rotary Club in the renewal of the annual golf challenge between the two local service organizations. The foursome posted a scramble score of 59 to defeat the Rotarians by a single shot during the recent Baytown Christian Academy golf tournament. This was the sixth meeting between the two clubs in a golf challenge benefitting a selected charity event. With the win the Kiwanis evened the series at three wins each and we eagerly look forward to next year's tournament. The victory cup is on display at Community Bank of Texas on Garth Road. Great job, Kiwanians!
