The Kiwanis Club of Baytown held its annual golf tournament fundraiser at Stonebridge of Newport golf course Friday, helping to deliver scholarships to students at the local high schools.
This year, the West Chambers Hearing Center served as the event’s platinum sponsor.
The tournament’s first place winners were Jim Wadzinski, Steve Daniele, Cody Woods and Craig Vincent. The second place winners were Jose Figueroa, Luis Figueroa, Sesair Figueroa and Tim Delgado. Placing third, were London Merling, Chad Merling, Caileigh Royer and Mike Royer.
Caileigh Royer was also the winner of the longest drive contest.
Winning Closest to the Pin was Craig Vincent, Cody Woods, Jared Hoffman and Caileigh Royer.
This year’s raffle winners were Chad Merling for a bourbon set; Lee Brown for a fishing pole; Steve Daniele for a Vizio 65-inch TV; while Jim Wadzinski won a round of golf at the course.
The last place folks were Bill Eckhert, John Ramirez and Leonard Pinares, who received practice golf balls.
The club is still tallying up figures at press time and will release the final numbers of funds raised at a later date.
