Inclusive Playground Check Presentation

Kiwanis Club president Dave Jirrels, right, presents a check for $10,000 in support of the James Bowie Elementary Inclusive Playground initiative to, left to right, Scott Johnson, director of the City of Baytown Parks and Recreation Department, Dr. Tom Kelchner, director of GCCISD Special Education, Randy O'Brien, GCCISD superintendent, and Rick Davis, Baytown City Manager. The inclusive playground, which had its ribbon cutting September 10, 2015, was a colaberative effort between the school district, city of Baytown, Kiwanis Club, and Rotary Club.
