Erica Foster, executive director of the Goose Creek Education Foundation, provided the club with an update on the efforts of the foundation. Erica reviewed the activities of the Foundation for 2017 and spoke about upcoming fundraising plans and activities for 2018. She reviewed the annual Student Choice Awards program and the Teacher Grant program. The Foundation will be sponsoring a gosh tournament (golf / fishing) on March 24 at Kingwood Country Club, with all proceeds going to funding of Foundation projects. The Foundation has provided over $830,000 in services to the school district since its inception in 2010.
