Goose Creek superintendent of schools Randal O'Brien gave his annual "State of the Goose" update at our August 17 meeting. Mr. O'Brien touched on topics covering the most-recent bond implementation, the results and ranking of our campuses based on the most-recent state testing, and the future needs of our district based on demographic projections. It is always nice to hear from our superintendent as we prepare for another school year. (And the Kiwanis bell in the photo looks good next to him!)
