Stacey Saxon, Goose Creek CISD coordinator for Special Olympics, gave the club an overview of the various programs in which local students participate throughout the school year. The GCCISD Special Olympics team has experienced much success over the course of many years of involvement. The team partners with the Baytown Parks and Recreation to host a regional event each spring. Stacey is a former GCCISD Special Education Teacher of the Year and has over 20 years of experience in the district.
