Football Coaches Visit Kiwanis

Goose Creek CISD's three high school head football coaches visited the Kiwanis on August 4 for their annual preview of the upcoming season. The district has new head coaches this year - Bren Jones at GC Memorial and Brett Sawyer at Sterling. David Wilkinson will be starting his third year as head coach at Robert E. Lee. The coaches focused more on their roles as teacher and mentor to the athletes they serve than on the X's and O's of the sport. The trio thanked the community for the assistant provided to the success of all students in Goose Creek and invited members out to the games over the next three months.
