Chinquapin Visits Kiwanis

The Kiwanis Club of Baytown welcomed representatives of the Chinquapin Prep Academy at its October 2 meeting. Executive Director Laura Henry, Director of Development Marilu Garza, and senior student Francisco Canamar provided information about the local non-profit college prep school located in Highlands. Ms Henry provided data on student success, Ms. Garza explained her role in the finances of the school, and Canamar gave personal testimony about the impact Chinquapin has had on his life.
