On Thursday, October 11, 2018, Heather Kane from Community Hospice was our guest speaker. Heather provided us great information and detail regarding the many hospice and palliative care services offered by Community Hospice to local residents. She educated us on various details of the care and eligibility requirements. She provided us details on the many options for volunteering with them. She circulated information for the big Game Changer fundraiser coming up on November 2 at Boneshakers from 6 to 10. Tickets are $40 a person and all proceeds are used for patient care.
