The Kiwanis guest speaker on February 7 was Julie Needs, Executive Director of the Sustainable Opportunity Development Center (SOD Center). Julie provided details of the training grant received by the SOD Center as well as the details on the many different types of training that could be obtained there. There is training that can benefit all types of businesses. If no particular training is planned but is needed by a business, the SOD Center can likely determine if there are others interested and retain an experienced trainer for such issues.
