As the vibrant colors of summer fade into the crisp air of autumn, the Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis Club proudly reflects on an exceptional event season. Our 2025 schedule was filled with family-friendly events that brought the community together, raised awareness for children's causes, and celebrated local traditions. With each gathering, we were reminded of the generous spirit that thrives in the Fox Cities.

15th Annual Butterfly Festival
June marked the celebration of one of our most beloved traditions—the 15th Annual Butterfly Festival. Hundreds of families gathered at the serene City Park to learn about butterflies, take part in family-friendly games and activities, and enjoy tasty snacks together. One of the most heartwarming moments of the day was watching children’s faces light up as they released their butterflies to conclude the event—a beautiful reminder of the wonders of nature and the importance of nurturing our future generations. Each year, this magical, family-friendly festival brings our community together to celebrate summer, creativity, and connection. From colorful butterflies and engaging activities to live entertainment and local exhibitors, the Fox Cities Butterfly Festival is all about creating joyful memories for children and families across our community and truly “Helping Families Fly.”

Our club is proud to support and be part of an event that highlights what we do best—bringing people together while supporting programs that help children thrive.

48th Anniversary Appleton Old Car Show & Swap Meet
In July, the 48th Anniversary Appleton Old Car Show & Swap Meet drew thousands of classic car enthusiasts to Pierce Park. The lineup featured over 1,000 vintage and restored vehicles, from sleek muscle cars to elegant antiques. Spectators strolled through rows of polished chrome and gleaming paint, sharing stories of automotive history and passion. The Swap Meet was a hit with collectors and hobbyists, offering hard-to-find parts and memorabilia.

21st Annual Golf Fore Children|
We wrapped up our event season in August with the 21st Annual Golf Fore Children outing. After 20 years, our club partnered with a new golf course, High Cliff Golf and Event Center. Golfers gathered for a beautiful day on the greens of fun, fellowship, and friendly competition all in support of ongoing community programs and initiatives of benefiting local youth and families. Participants enjoyed friendly competition, hole challenges, and raffles, followed by dinner to recognize outstanding players and sponsors.

The Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis Club is deeply grateful for the unwavering support from our community, sponsors, and volunteers. Each event is a testament to the power of collective action and the impact we can make when we come together for a shared cause – serving one child, one community at a time. We look forward to 2026 with renewed energy and hope to build on this year’s successes, creating more opportunities for children and families to thrive in the Fox Cities.
