Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis Awarded Silver "Today Club" Honor

The Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis has been honored by the international Kiwanis Children's Fund for its giving to the kid-focused charity during the 2015-2016 year. The Appleton Kiwanians received word of their silver-level recognition at its April 28 weekly meeting.
Each year, the Appleton-Fox Cities Kiwanis Club makes donations to community groups and youth-focused not-for-profits across the Fox Cities area, but also to National and International projects like The Kiwanis Children's Fund. During the September 2015-August 2016 year, the club's unrestricted gifts to the Kiwanis Children's Fund reached a per-member giving average of $25 per member. Currently, the Appleton-Fox Cities Kiwanis have 58 members.
The Appleton-Fox Cities Kiwanis meets every Friday at 7:15 am at the Atlas Waterfront Cafe and Gathering Room at 425 W. Water Street, Appleton. The Appleton-Fox Cities Kiwanis is most known for its sponsorship of the Atlas Old Car Show and Swap Meet, held this year on July 16, and the brand new Fox Cities Kidz Expo.
