Since 2004, the Appleton-Fox Cities Kiwanis Club has hosted Golf Fore Children – an event benefiting the Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis Charitable Fund and other non-profit partners who support the children of our community.
This year’s event is taking place on August 20th, 2024 at Royal St. Patrick’s Golf Links. Thanks to the help of local businesses, individuals and foundations, Golf Fore Children has raised over $250,000 to support local organizations with a mission to serve the youth in our community. This year’s event will benefit the Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis Club, WisconSibs, Inc. and a non-profit to be named later.
- Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Our local chapter donates hundreds of service hours each year and raises funds to support a wide variety of initiatives and organizations in the Fox Valley, including the Salvation Army, Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, Old Glory Honor Flights, Harbor House and many more.
- WisconSibs, Inc. is the first independent not-for-profit in the country dedicated to the interests of siblings of people with developmental disabilities like autism, Down Syndrome or Cerebral Palsy, as well as long-term illnesses and mental health concerns from childhood through adulthood. Over the years we have served hundreds of siblings through workshops, Sib Camps, Teen Sibling Leadership programs, social activities for families of children with disabilities, and future planning and peer support as siblings become adults.
- Boys' & Girls' Brigade of Neenah strives to create an environment where young individuals (youth in Grade 5-12) can express themselves while exploring their interests and hobbies. We strive to be a haven where leaders and staff foster an atmosphere of hope, ensuring both physical and psychological safety for youth. Every child deserves a place where they belong, feel appreciated, and are nurtured – a space to develop social skills, healthy habits, make informed decisions, and learn essential values.
