Butterfly Festival Committee

This committee will plans and coordinates all aspects of Fox Cities Butterfly Festival event at City Park held the Saturday before Father’s Day.  Music, free food and numerous activity providers offer fun things to do, and there is a live butterfly release at the end.  
When do they meet? This committee will meet at least 6 months before the event on the 1st Friday of the month from 8:15am-9:30am.

Car Show Committee

This committee will plans and coordinate all logistics and the Food Truck Rally portion of the annual Appleton Old Car Show and Swap Meet (all-day event in July) at Pierce Park which is one of our four largest annual club fundraising events.
When do they meet? This committee will meet at least 6 months before the event on a regular schedule.

Foundation Advisory Committee
Chair: Greg Lawrence
The Appleton - Fox Cities Kiwanis has established the Appleton-Fox Cities Kiwanis Endowment and Charitable Fund through the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, Inc. for the preservation of Kiwanis ideals, charitable contributions, and long-term community support. Our Endowment fund is set up for future charitable projects and the Charitable fund allows more immediate use of funds. This committee has 6 elected members serving two-year staggered terms and his led by our immediate past president. 
When do they meet? This advisory committee meets at least quarterly or more based on the work of the committee.  The members of this committee are voted on by the general membership of our club. 

Golf Fore Children Committee
Chairs: Jay Stephany / Co-chair Vacant
This committee is responsible for coordinating the Golf FORE Children event (in August), one of the four largest annual club fundraising events, including locating and securing non-profit partners(s), golf course, sponsors, soliciting for door prizes, raffle items and hole events. This committee will also coordinate the 50/50 raffle ticket pre-event sales.  
When do they meet? This committee will meet at least 6 months before the event on a regular schedule. 
 

House Committee

This committee ensures that our weekly meetings/roundtables are appropriately set-up, beverages are ready, 50/50 tickets, greeter and inspirational message volunteers have been scheduled.

Interclub Committee

This committee seeks to have at least 4 club members attend other Kiwanis Club meetings, attend other clubs’ events, or attend district activities at least 10 times throughout the year to win a Round Robin award. The focus is getting members to engage in fellowship with other Kiwanians.

Kidz Expo Committee

This committee is responsible for coordinating all planning, logistics, sponsor recruitment, activities, and vendors. The funds raised provide a family event that is FREE, fun, educational and adventurous.

Kiwanis 'n Cops 'n Kids Committee
Chairs: Jean Long Manteufel 
Coordinates and schedules book readings with local law enforcement. The objective is to improve the reading skills of children by introducing them to the adventure and creativity that is received from reading.

Membership & Fellowship Committee
Chairs: Renee Waterman
Oversees the club’s growth and retention activities and monitors the overall engagement and health of the club. Spearheads the processes for identifying new members, provides new member orientations, a mentorship program and follows up with those who are not actively involved. Leads efforts for identifying and coordinating monthly social/fellowship activities with a focus on fun.  
When do they meet?  This committee meets the 2nd Tuesday before a board meeting from 7:15am-8:15am
