Tim Christensen had the program today. He spoke about the upcoming September bond issue for the Greene County School District. He shared some of the major issues to be addressed with the project including efficiencies of having only two buildings, and having safe & modern facilities. He addressed how existing buildings will be used in the future if the project is approved by the voters. It will take at least two years for the building project to be completed after a successful vote of over 60 percent of district patrons. Tax rates from various conference and neighboring districts were also shared in a handout. Tim offered to come back in the next month or so to share more information and concept drawings as the bond issue campaign gears up. Thanks to Tim for providing information on the project!
