There were 28 members in attendance with Denny Hammen and Les Reinhart as guests. Many happy dollars were shared. President Goshon reminded members of the board meeting on Friday. Vern reported a can deposit of $48.85. Linda reported that the Aktion Club had a picnic last Wednesday and she thanked Randy, Rick, and Dave for their help. Randy and Dave almost walked on water, but did get wet! The Aktion Club will meet next Monday, Sept.8th at 4:00 pm at the Masonic Lodge.

Vicky Lautner had the program today. She introduced co-worker Simeon Lang who works as the Wellness & Pool Supervisor for the Greene County Parks & Recreation Department. Simeon spoke about the various classes, leagues, and events hosted by the recreation department. Thanks to Vicky & Simeon for the update!
