There were 28 members in attendance with guests John Nelson and Brenda Batschelet visiting. Many happy dollars were shared. Pat M. reported on the Farmer's Market grilling/serving on Tuesday evening which was successful. Vern F. reported a can deposit of $100.45 from the last several weeks. Rick M. talked about the upcoming annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast on Oct. 26 and handed out event flyers. President Christensen reminded members of the Officer Installation next Wednesday starting at 6:45am. Dave J. reported on a Fundraising Committee meeting held Wednesday morning. They are considering having a Services Silent Auction where members donate services to auction off starting in the courthouse rotunda and finishing at the Pancake Breakfast on Oct.26th. There will be a club budget meeting at the Law Firm in the Lincoln building at 4:30pm on Sept.25th.
Vicky Lautner had the program today. She introduced her assistant, Libby Towers from the Greene County Park & Recreation. Libby spoke about her job responsibilities and updated members on the many activities and offerings that have been developed. Thanks to Vicky and Libby for the good program!
