There were 27 members in attendance with Les Reinhart visiting from the Aktion Club. President-elect Sherry Palmer called the meeting to order and shared special occasions and announcements. There will be a board of directors meeting this Friday morning, August 7th at 7am. Vern reported a can deposit in the amount of $52.85. Linda & Hollie reported that the Aktion Club met last Monday. They plan to donate $200 toward the school supply collection and will be involved in a upcoming Safe Baby program. Discussions were held and sign-up sheets presented for the upcoming Farmer's Market (workers/grillers & dessert bars needed) and Hot August Night (grillers) events. Vern also reported that 5 volunteers are needed on Saturday, August 15th for the Hazardous Materials Collection at the Greene County Fairgrounds.

Matt & Toni Wetrich provided the program today. They shared a photo presentation from their recent trip to Glacier National Park in Montana. Glacier became the 10th national park in 1910 and covers more than one million acres. They shared beautiful photos of the mountains, trails, flowers, and wildlife they encountered during their stay at the park. Thanks to Toni & Matt for sharing the presentation with us!!
