There were 26 members present today, Visitors including Dean Rogers (new member next week) and Les Reinhardt from the Aktion Club. President Miller shared many special occassions and reminded members of the Board Meeting on Friday morning. Linda S. reported on the Farmer's Market grilling by the Aktion Club and thanked members for their help and donations. Harry reported a can deposit of $36.55. Hollie R. thanked members who assisted with the Quilt Show this past weekend.

Hollie Roberts introduced John Green's program today. John invited Chris Keahi, who is the Public Affairs Coordinator for the Iowa Donor Network to speak to the club. The goal of the organization is "transforming lives through organ and tissue donation". Chris showed a powerpoint and shared several videos about organ donation. Today there are 627 Iowan's waiting on the list for an organ donation. Thanks to Hollie, John and Chris for a very informative and inspiring program!
