There were 34 members in attendance today. Dean Rogers was a guest of Lisa Jaskey. There was a report on the interclub to Nevada Morning and Golden K from Vern on August 9th. Hollie reported on the Aktion Clubs trip to the NE-IA District Convention in Lincoln, NE. Fourteen Aktion Club members made the trip and had a great time! They received a certificate for the largest group attending that traveled the furthest to the conference!
Board meeting minutes were read by Foje. President Miller reminded members of upcoming events.

Deb Geisler had the program today. She introduced Bob Smith and Chuck Wenthold who spoke about the Hot August Night event coming up this Thursday, August 11th on the square. They are expecting 150 cars to be displayed. There will also be motorcycles and tractors on display. The showed the wooden plaques that will be awarded. The club will be running the grill for the event. Thanks Deb, Bob and Chuck for the update-it should be a great evening on the square!
