There were 29 members in attendance today. Visitors included Les and Mindy from the Aktion Club and Joe Christensen was a guest of Tim Christensen. Many happy dollars were shared by members. Vern reported a can deposit of $88.05. The Aktion Club met on Monday and is busy with popcorn sales at the local Farmer's Market. Tom reported that the Fair Food Stand should realize a profit of around $1,500 for the club.

Deb Geisler had the program today. She introduced local Hy-Vee Chef Brad Robey. Brad spoke about his background, how he became a chef, and shared some stories and favorite dishes. Brad lives in rural Paton and has two sons who are also in the food preparation business. Thanks to Deb and Brad for an enjoyable program!
