There were 33 members in attendance today with Les Reinhart visiting from the Aktion Club and an interclub from the Nevada Kiwanis Club. Many special occasions were recognized and happy dollars shared. President Christensen reminded members of the board meeting on Friday morning at the Uptown Cafe. Vern F. reported a can deposit of $81.15. Linda S. reported that the Aktion Club made around $300 from the Farmer's Market meal and that they will have a meeting on Monday at the Masonic Lodge. Division 11 Governor Jody Melcher from Nevada shared that there will be a Division Council meeting on Saturday, July 27th at the Ames Town & Country meeting. It will feature a Kiwanian that is riding his motorcycle cross-country raising money for the Eliminate project.

Vern Foje had the program today. He introduced Rich and Reagan Osborne who spoke about their new business, Greene Bean Coffee. They showed slides of how the business started years ago in their home, to the remodeling and opening of their new business on the square. They answered a variety of questions about coffee beans and the processes involved. They invited members to tour the business at the conclusion of the meeting. Thanks to Vern, Rich, and Reagan for a very informative program!
