There were 32 members present today. President Miller announced special events and happy dollars were collected. She reminded members about the June 7th Farmer's Market that we are serving and grilling at and also the upcoming Bell Tower Festival on June 10-12. Our food stand will operate Friday & Saturday from 3-8pm and Sunday from noon-3pm. Signup will be next Wednesday, June 8th. Ross Hansen will be celebrating his birthday in Jefferson on June 5th at the Uptown Cafe around 12:30pm. Stop by and wish Ross Happy Birthday!

Derrick Bauer had the program today. He introduced Mike Wright, City Building Inspector who talked about the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) which helped built a spec home at 505 N. Vine Street. Mike talked about the history of the program and what plans are being made for the future. The NSP funds are distributed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and was established for the purpose of stabilizing communities and assisting in the redevelopment of abandoned and foreclosed homes and residential properties. Mike and Derrick gave a tour of the new green built home for club members. Thanks Derrick and Mike for a informational tour and program!
