There were 36 members in attendance this morning. President Miller mentioned upcoming events including Bell Tower, Farmer's Market, Flag Raising, and the June Board Meeting. It was decided by members that we will have the Kiwanis stand open Sunday from noon-3pm during Bell Tower weekend. A signup sheet was passed around. Harry reported a can deposit of $86.15. Linda S. reported on the Aktion Club's upcoming events. Verle B. announced the Genesis picnic will be held on June 1st at Spring Lake. Tim B. reported on the school construction open house. Around 300 people toured the house and approximately $1,300 was donated at the free will offering.

Everett Beebe introduced Dick Blanshan who spoke about the Cyclists of Greene organization and cycling in general. Dick spoke about riding safety, types of bikes, riding gear, and the many trails that are available in Iowa. Dick also shared that he has ridden Ragbrai for 34 years!
