There were 34 members present today along with former member Bob Smith visiting. Many Happy Dollars were shared. Vern reported a can deposit of $84.10. Aktion Club report by Linda included showing off their new t-shirts, Avenue of Flags for Memorial Day, and a picnic planned for next Wednesday. She also reported that their Relay for Life team placed 9th raising $823.00. Kiwanis scholarships were awarded to the following seniors last night by President Goshon: Kyle Bettey, Morgan Buenz, Sean Kenan, and Michael Von Stein. The next board meeting is June 6th.

Tim Christensen presented information to club members about the proposed Kiwanis committee restructuring. Five main committees (Membership, Fundraising, Public Relations, Community Service, Programming) will be filled by club members in the near future. It is hoped that the new structure will be in place by Oct.1st. The handouts from the meeting today are available in the "Download" section of our website.
