There were 32 members in attendance. We had two interclubs visiting today, one from Ames Town & Country and the other from Nevada. Les and Mindy were also visiting from the Aktion Club and had the opportunity to visit with Keith Kerkhoff from Templeton Rye. Angie Pedersen was also back representing the Bell Tower Festival and also Greene County Tourism. Welcome to all guest and it was also good to see Dean McAtee back in the fold!

The annual election was held with the ballot of officers and board members (previously published) approved. Vern reported a can deposit of $123.10. Linda reported that the Aktion Club will meet next Monday and will be having a dance at the Elks Club to raise funds for the Aktion Club convention trip to Indianapolis. There is a Genesis Picnic planned for May 27th. President Monthei awarded scholarships to seniors Shannon Brown, Emily Christensen, Alex and Annie Palmer during Senior Awards night Tuesday at GCHS. Congrats to all seniors!

Mark Bauer had the program today. He gave up his program slot (Thanks Mark!) so we could work co-founder of Templeton Rye Spirits LLC Keith Kerkhoff into our program rotation. Keith has been working with the BTF Cycle events committee since last spring to host a motorcycle tour ride to their business on June 13th during Bell Tower. Keith spoke about the company and its rich history in Carroll county. Keith shared many stories, provided some door prizes, and also free samples of the "good stuff'. Keith also visited the Mahanay Bell Tower with his friend, Al Capone. Thanks to Keith for making the early morning trip from Manilla to Jefferson and also for his company's support of the Greene County Motorcycle Charity which in turn benefits the Raccoon Valley Aktion Club!!
