There were 35 members in attendance with Les Reinhart visiting from the Aktion Club and Matt Wetrich as a guest of Toni Linberg. Matt mentioned the Earth Week event he is involved in May 3rd at Swan Lake State Park from 10:00am-2:00pm and asked for volunteers to assist. Vern reported a can drop deposit of $85 for the last twelve days. Linda and Hollie reported on the Aktion Club conference in Newton, the Pizza Ranch discount cards for sale, and the plans to publish an Aktion Club Cook book. Get your favorite recipe to Hollie or Linda!

President Goshon talked about Skip-A-Meal and the club members donated $159.00 toward this event. Another collection will be taken next Wednesday for those that missed today's opportunity. There will be a Relay for Life sponsor photo opportunity on April 15th at 11:30am at the Greene County Community Center. The annual officer election will be held soon. Below is the slate from the nomination committee:

- Deb Geisler, Tom Heater, Dan Benitz for Board of Directors

The Greene County Community Foundation (GCCF) was established on January 31, 2005 to serve and enhance the quality of life in Greene County. The GCCF currently has 31 board members serving.with several members from our local Kiwanis Club. The foundation is permanently endowed and will accept and is actively seeking donations, major gifts and bequests, all of which will be tax deductible. Recently they awarded 27 grants to county organizations totaling $121,000.00. The foundation supports non-profit organizations and requires matching funds for all grant submissions.
