There were 30 members in attendance with Les visiting from the Aktion Club. Many Happy Dollars were shared.Vicky thanked Kiwanians that assisted with the Easter Egg Hunt. She reported that 120 youngsters participated! Linda & Hollie reported on the Aktion Club meeting last Monday. They are busy planning for the Aktion Club convention in Indianapolis, Relay for Life, and Bell Tower.President Monthei reminded members that our Kiwanis One Day service activity will be at Head Park on Saturday, April 11th beginning at 8am. We will be painting and doing other repairs on park buildings.

Jean Walker had the program today. She introduced Jeff Lamoureux, Associate Director from Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity is a community-driven Christian housing ministry. They develop working partnerships with local churches, businesses, governments, organizations and individuals to build and repair simple, decent and affordable housing for families in need. Heart of Iowa serves Boone/Greene/Guthrie counties. Their current project in Greene county is at 901 West Washington St. in Jefferson. The GCHS construction class has been assisting with this renovation and the projected completion date is June 1st. Thanks to Jean and Jeff for the update on this great program!
