There were 32 members in attendance today with Matt Wetrich and Justin Lamaak visiting. Justin & Matt submitted their membership applications which the board will act on this Friday. Welcome to both of them! Vern reported that Relay for Life raised around $52,000 last weekend. President Goshon passed around the Platinum Sponsor plaque that the club received from Relay for Life. He also shared a thank you from the Greene County Rec. Dept. for our help with the Easter Egg hunt. The Aktion Club will meet next Monday at 4pm.

The list of candidates was presented for the election next week which includes:
President: Randy Monthei
President Elect: Sherry Palmer
Vice President: Dave Jaskey
Treasurer: Bob Schwarzkopf
Board Members: Tom Heater, Deb Geisler, Dan Benitz

Mike Wahl had the program today. He invited teacher Cortney Schmidt from the GCHS Vocational Ag program to talk about the local FFA chapter. Ms Schmidt updated members on the happenings of the FFA chapter which has grown to 78 members this year. They have lots of new and exciting things happening with their organization including plans to expand the current greenhouse. She also shared that they will hold their annual plant sale on May 8th from 10am-5pm in the GCHS greenhouse located behind the HS on the southwest side. Thanks to Mike and Cortney for a very informative program!
