There were 34 members in attendance today. Guests included Jessica Green and Robert Carman. Harry reported a can deposit of $72.45. A report was heard on the Easter Egg Hunt and Aktion Club fundraising to send Matt Bradley to the Aktion Club conference. Upcoming interclubs were mentioned with the first one on Saturday, May 7th to Ames departing at 6:45am. A nomination committee report was presented by Linda Spearman. The slate includes Denny Goshon as Vice President, Lisa Jaskey as Treasurer, and Board Members candidates Tim Buenz, Dave Jaskey, and Mike Palmer. Nominations from the floor will be heard on May 4th.
Tom Yepsen had the program today. He introduced John Brunow from All Ability Cycles, LLC in Jefferson. John had been in the bicycle business for 13 years in Northern Virginia before coming to Jefferson. All Ability Cycles will open during the Bell Tower Festival at 101 N. Chestnut. Their mission is to serve the special needs population with a variety of bicycle offerings. They will also be doing bicycle repairs.
