There were 35 members in attendance with Les Reinhart and Matt Wetrich visiting the meeting. Matt turned in his membership application and will be inducted soon! Welcome Matt! Many happy dollars were shared. Vern reported a can deposit of $63.65 for the last six days. The Aktion Club will meet next Monday and are busy getting ready for Relay For Life and selling Pizza Ranch discount cards. If you would like to contribute a recipe for the Aktion Club cookbook please get that to Hollie or Linda by next Wednesday. This Saturday is the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Greene County Community Center. Vicki would like any helpers available to arrive by 8:30am. Vern reported that member donations from the last two weeks for Skip-A-Meal totaled $176.00.
Derrik Bauer had the program today. He invited Jack Williams from the Greene County Sheriff's department to update the club on drug trends. Jack spoke about the following categories that are gaining in popularity.
-Prescription Drugs
-Inhalants
-Cold/Cough Medicine
-Marijuana
-K2, Spice, Bath Salts
Jack reminded members that the Drug Take Back program collection will be held on April 26th. Thanks to Derrik and Jack for a very informative presentation!
