There were 28 members in attendance today with no guests. Vicky asked for volunteers for the annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th at the Rec. Center. Vern reported a can drop deposit of $64.05. Amy McGinn from Greene County Elementary School contacted President Monthei looking for support of the End of Year Reading Incentive. A motion was made and passed by members to provide $200 to sponsor the printing on the t-shirts. Dan Benitz talked about the building repair needs at Head Park, Washington Park, and the Little League Press Box which Kiwanis has assisted with in the past. Actions will be focused on the needs at restrooms and the shelter house at Head Park for Kiwanis One Day on April 11th.  Pat Miller reminded members that volunteers are needed for Teen Maze on April 9th from 11:00am-2:30pm. She and Hollie will be attending a meeting this week in Boone.
 
Mike Wahl had the program today. Ken Paxton spoke to members about the upcoming Jefferson Matters: Main Street Empty Building Tour. This guided tour will showcase the potential new business and residential opportunities that are available. The tours will be on Thursday (4/16/15) and Saturday (4/18/15) from 10am-4pm. A drone video highlighting some of the buildings has been produced and is hosted on YouTube.Thanks to Mike and Ken for the informative program!
