There were 37 members in attendance today and one guest, Lt. Governor Gary Wade of Ames. President Miller shared special occasions and information concerning upcoming events including the Teen Maze with members. Tom Duncan updated us on recent Aktion Club activities including Spring Into Greene and Just Feed One. Rev. Daylong reported that he has been appointed as the associate pastor of the Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church and will be leaving us in June.

Bill Steussy had the program today. He introduced Donna Sutton from GCMC Public Health who spoke about the mentoring program called "Kids With A Connection". The program has been in existence for ten years and serves approximately 25 youngsters. She thanked the club for our past financial support and will let us know later this spring whether she needs additional funding. Thanks to Bill & Donna for an uplifting program!
