There were 32 members in attendance today with Les Reinhart visiting from the Aktion Club. A can deposit for $63.75 was reported by Vern. President Monthei spoke about Kiwanis One Day on April 11th and his desire that we work on a project that day. He also talked about the upcoming board election and that he has appointed a nomination committee. The board position of Rod Kleitsch who is leaving the community and club will remain open until the election.  Linda thanked the six Kiwanians that helped unload the food truck at the ARC Food Pantry. She also mentioned that the Aktion Club is excited about the Fireman's Ball dance and that around 15 will be attending with donated tickets.
 
Mark VanderLinden had the program today. He invited Jenny Taylor, Director of Speciality Clinics at GCMC to speak to us about the specialty clinics that they offer. She highlighted some new services available, one of which is ENT Specialist (Ear, Nose,Throat) staffed by Dr.Tracey Wellendorf and Diana Smith. The other is Dr. Richard Sazama who is a Urologist. She also shared that some UnityPoint Clinic services could start as early at May. Thanks to Mark and Jenny for the update!!
