There were 32 members in attendance today with Les Reinhart visiting from the Aktion Club. Jack Williams was inducted as the newest member of our club. Welcome Jack! Bob Smith reported that the interclub to Boone was cancelled due to the weather forecast. The next interclub opportunity is March 15th at the Ames Noon club. Linda S. reported on the Aktion Club meeting. Our own Don Van Gilder spoke at the Monday meeting about Relay for Life. The Aktion Club will be serving popcorn on Apr. 13th at Spring Into Greene. Pat M. reminded members about the need for workers at the Teen Maze. Greene County students will attend Teen Maze in Boone the morning of Apr. 2nd.

Tim Buenz and Bob Smith provided the program today. Tim expanded on the Google Apps/Chromebook Pilot project currently happening in the district. Chrome devices are optimized for the web’s vast educational resources. Integrate rich content into lessons, inspire collaboration, and encourage students to create and share their own content with the world. Chrome devices deliver it all without lengthy startup times or tedious training. They're a simple, scalable and affordable way to put technology into the hands of more students and teachers.
