There were 29 members and 4 local Aktion Club guests present today with President-Elect Tom Heater presiding over the meeting. Many "Happy Dollars" were shared and special occasions announced. Harry reported a can deposit of $43.80. The Aktion Club will meet again on Feb.28th and are working on Relay for Life and Feed The Hungry events. President-Elect Heater presented a thank you card and a check for $300 to the Jefferson Aktion Club president Matt Bradley for their assistance during the Jefferson Telecom Open House breakfast.

Hollie Roberts introduced Floyd Hutzell from the Algona Kiwanis Club who is the NE-IA District Aktion Club Administrator. Floyd talked about the Aktion Club organization and shared his thoughts about our local clubs. He mentioned that the Jefferson Aktion Club was the 393rd club formed internationally and that there are over 900 Aktion Club members. Floyd invited everyone to visit the Aktion Club organization website. Thanks to Hollie and Floyd for a very interesting program!
