There were 29 members present today. President Miller reminded members of the board meeting and the JS basketball concession stand date. Vern reported that a record of $4,070.78 was collected locally during the Salvation Army Bell Ringing. Harry reported a can deposit of $117.60.

Jeff Lamoureux had the program today for Mike Palmer. Jeff invited the three place winners from the local VFW Post essay contest. The theme for the essay was "Does Patriotism Still Matter"? Third place winner in the contest was Reed Lamoureux who read his essay first. Second place was awarded to Maggie Havens. The winner of the local contest was Ethan Woodruff.
