There were 31 members in attendance today. Nick Sorensen was a guest of Mike Palmer and Les & Mindy were visiting from the Aktion Club. Many happy dollars were shared by members today. Vern reported a can deposit of $28.70. Linda reported that the Hat/Mitten/Sock tree will go up at the courthouse next week. Donated items go to the school kids. President Sherry reminded members that Bell Ringers are need. Vern reported that we donated food items and $828 to the ARC Pantry.

Mike Palmer (City Administrator) had the program today. He spoke on the topic of Hotel Fire Safety. He shared details about the emergency exit instructions/plan implemented when the Cobblestone Hotel was built here recently. He shared that the hotel hallways are to serve as a safe tunnel to get people safely out of the building in a fire. Photos and explanations were shared on the fire rated doors, ceiling materials, exit lights/signs, panic door hardware and handrails. Thanks to Mike for an informative program!
