There were 30 members in attendance with Les visiting from the Aktion Club. Members collected over $250 for the ARC food pantry today. President Palmer thanked our veterans in attendance for their service! Vern reported a can deposit of $82.70. A gift basket (donated by Jean Walker) raffle was held with Denny Hammen chosen as the lucky winner and $84 dollars was collected in the process! Hollie reported that Brenda B. was elected as President of the Aktion Club and that they are busy planning for Bell Ringing and their Dec. 8th Christmas party.

Bell Ringing dates for our club are November, 28 and December 5th. Members are invited to sign up for a shift and can also volunteer on the Aktion Club ringing dates. President Palmer announced a photo opportunity next Wednesday after the meeting for our Adopt A Family donation.

Bill Monroe had the program today. He invited Curt Nelson of Skeeter Creek Fabricators who have a Art & Antiques consignment store on the square. Curt showed photos of items for sale in the store which caters to Iowa artists. They are open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
